Project description
The best two Latvian female vocal ensembles – the vocal group ANIMA SOLLA (from Jumprava, Ogre District, artistic director Marite Purina) and the vocal group PUTNI (Birds) (from Riga, artistic director Antra Drege) – have joined together to perform in a concert of spiritual music in collaboration with the noted saxophonist Artis Gaga.

Currently, the synthesis of various art forms and diverse musical genres has gained prominence just as much as the collaboration of artists working in different styles. It is a phenomenon that has widened the possibilities of musical expression providing room for richer and more colorful palette of musical moods and stimulating individual performers and art groups – professionals and amateurs alike – for collaboration.
